Murata: A new type of MLCC (multilayer ceramic capacitor) product designed specifically for the automotive industry.

Leading electronic component manufacturer Murata Corporation recently announced the launch of a new series of MLCC (multilayer ceramic capacitor) products designed specifically for the automotive industry. These products offer an impressive range of features, including small size, high capacity and low inductance, making them ideal for a variety of automotive applications.

Some key specifications of these new products include the 1608M (1.6×0.8mm) size option with a capacity of 10μF and a voltage rating of 6.3V, and the 3216M (3.2×1.6mm) option with a capacity of 47μF and a voltage rating of 6.3V. Withstand voltage 4V. In addition, the 3225M (3.2×2.5mm) model has a capacity of 100μF and a withstand voltage of 2.5V. These products are ideally suited to meet the growing demand for capacitors in networking and automation systems in the automotive sector.

In addition to these new MLCC products, Murata has also developed a series of low-ESL products designed for power control IC peripherals for autonomous driving systems. 1005M (1.0×0.5mm) options include 1μF and 4.3μF products with 4V and 2.5V voltage resistance, respectively, while the 1608M model offers 10μF capacity and 4V voltage resistance. These products are designed to help reduce the number of capacitors required while meeting the growing demand for high-performance components in autonomous driving systems.

In addition, to meet the growing demand for high-performance CPUs, Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has launched a low-profile, low-ESL, size 050M (0.5×1.0mm) LW inverting capacitor embedded in the package. This product has been developed specifically to meet the needs of capacitors mounted in packages and offers a high level of performance and reliability.

Overall, the launch of these new products underscores Murata’s continued commitment to meeting the automotive industry’s evolving needs for high-quality capacitors. Focused on innovation and performance, Murata continues to demonstrate its leadership in electronic components.
